I'm BACK!

After a long break from writing any blog for a period of 10 months since the last post I made.

I don't know why or maybe I knew why the heck that I stop such a long period and now heading back to this space.

I stop not because of those famous reason that being busy, but I'm lazy and lost my 3 minutes temper to write something to be posted.

In the near end of 2010, this is my special year that to be consider as my turning point in life. At the beginning of the year, I made investment and earned a lot...Then, made losses also. Up fast down fast just like sitting in the roller-coaster.

Early of the year, I made the decision to further my study and now I'm doing my master degree. During the intake waiting process, I joined in some investment courses that do really enhanced my knowledge on the share market. However, maybe the timing wasn't right, the whole world economic bungee-jump. (=___= )"

Would like to mention as well that lots of my friends get married this year, and luckily that not much invited me for the ceremony...haha...isn't good? or bad?

There are about two more weeks remaining before my first semester final exam. I supposed to be craving on my books and notes but instead I'm here writing down nothing useful for my exam preparation. What to do? Planning and execution always are two different things in our life.

Actually, the things that hold me back was not movie, gathering or any other things else, but a thought. This thing happened last week, yup about few days ago and I'm still drowning into it right now. That's a thought came into my mind, and I do a search on Google. Guess what, it leads me a bloody vomit out of my wallet. However, I see it as a type of long-term investment. I shall fully occupied and applied all the theories and methods after my coming exam. And, really hope that the results can be coming the way faster than my expectation.

Where to go NOW?

Look back to the date of my last English post, it was 3 months ago...Not try to defend, but I have focus on some of the topic in Chinese version and it is one of those reasons that I put this aside.

I do think about translating my Chinese post into English and share in here....however, I do understand as well that my English are still Pte & Ltd. Some or most of the suitable expession, tone & mood, I still have a long path to get myself improve.

Just after a long break of writing the entries, I wanna start this back again, but not sure how long this can be sustain.

Why?

Because I want to figure out something. I plan to do something.

There are few things in my plan now. Of course, further study is one of those. Now, I plan to get into UM. Well, the status is still pending for the registration period in February later.

Besides the study, I'm looking into the investment part or in other word to earn some side income. Trading market is always not an easy way to go as we really need a 'thick' modal for backup. So, recently I start to look back some opportunity thru or at internet.

As far we all know, millions of people start their online business everyday. This is a great challenge to start your own one in this competitive world. But, in fact, I get a solution of this.

No doubt Internet is a powerful resource centre that enable anyone to look for anything....but we can never forget that information on the Internet can be posted by anyone as well, which means the accuracy of the Internet always need to be reconsidered.

The solution I get, for sure, is from Internet. USD 299!! It could be a trick or a trap, but I think I can handle the risk as my education fee. Now the key question is: do I want to take this challenge and pay for this investment?

Is seeking advice and sit down to re-think about this...

Cleaning Mindset

Just have a thought came across recently... Do I satisfy what I'm having now? Is there any changes I want to make? How about moving one step further, will it be as hard as I presumed?

As per what I told people recently as well as written & announced in previous blog, I plan to do my Master Degree. I do mean it.

After a long long searching, and even taking myself a break to put this thing down in order to let myself calm down before making any decision, I 'see' some difficulties.

Yea, I plan to take up the MBA course...even it maybe not helping much in the real life, but at least I have the exposure to the business management and theories.

First of all, there are two options for me, Segi Uni College and UTAR. UTAR would be my second choice even the fees a lot cheaper than Segi. The reason I hold on it is because I graduated my Degree there, and hope to look for new study environment. And yet, during the searching process, some people comment that its intake criteria or requirement is lower, where without working experience can do.

Segi's MBA (University of Southern Queenland), allows 16 months of minumum graduation period for fulltime study...that I think is good for me where I would like to mimimise the 'unemploy' period.

However, due to its stated requirement, I need to take some extra steps to step into the door. So far, I have not taken the TOEFL test that it is a MUST for the course. (I need to ask around to take the exam, before applying the course....and it need as least 6.5.....*sigh*~)

Then, in the application form, it also ask for the financial support that allows applicant to afford & finish the whole course fees...(study fulltime mean no income, then how to prove leh??? Just inform them I'm a billionnaire, it should be ok then??? Hahaha~)

Some more, it is going to have an interview session to 'filter' the qualify students....another challenge again~ Yet, the application fee cost RM300!!! (Waoh...maybe it is a good time for me to re-think for re-choose the course??!!)

But, it should have a 'better' future and study environment....or else how dare they charge you so expensive and 'filter' people some more???

....last, if there is anything, my backward step is going back to UTAR lor...it should be easy and cheaper...

Another birthday's wish

Happy or sad, time keep running.

Working days or holiday, life still goes on.

Birthday for me, nothing special, a date printed in the calender every year. What so special? Celebrate the birth? Or to celebrate that you are one more step nearer to the grave?

No matter what happened, everything still in the loop itself and keep on going....except the time where your clock is broken or out of battery.

Every year, we make the wish. But, what for? For me, a wish means a hope. A hope means a thought. A thought means the things no yet been done. Or, it is another uncomplete task to you when the next birthday arrive.

Even so, I do set myself a mind that keep on practising what I have learnt & knew, and apply on my daily activities. Learning process is easy when we keep in playful minded. For the next birthday, hope to flashback what I have done this year and be cheerful about it.

New adventure~

Quite some time didn't write english story already. About 4 months since the last post on May. Just really not sure whether my english level getting worse, or still able to maintain in the same level. Bet typing or chatting in msn and facebook be counted as a proper way of presenting english...

After the long long break, I have not stop my step in the daily life. Although not in the english stream, but I do upgrade myself by attending few interesting and 'mysterious' courses.

It makes me 'open the eyes and ears' as well as my thought. Things do come in this way where we rarely think of. Some that we thought are complicated, but it does simple when we look it from the different way. (Not bullshit, or you think you have already heard it or understand it. You NEVER in the loop if you didn't go through what I attended)

Yes, we do always face those people said they already understood what you are trying to say or thought when you are still not presented it yet. That's we called it Bullshit! A big bullshit!!

With the scientific research & analysis, 95% of the people in the world are never "think". In another way to say, their brains are brand new! So, what makes you think you are not in the group this 95%??

A bit out of topic...just the scene shot pan back to my adventure. The few courses I attended, in general conclusion, they are the skills of persuasion and influences. Why we need these skills? I am who I am, I never thought of influence others to accept my ideas?? Is it so???

People are influence from one to another and it is our daily activities & needs. What you plan to eat for lunch/dinner, etc. We have to admit that we are practising these, influence others for any decision making.

It will be a long long story to share in this post if I try to blend all the things in here. So, be patient, I will explain it further in the future post.

Casualty Simulation

After conducting the casualty simulation course last week, the thought of having a 'complete one' come to my mind again.

What's the meaning of complete one? My definition is a whole or series of simulation; not only the makeup, but included the acting.

Everytime when I saw other area or state level organising the first aid & home nursing competition, their casualties, some are 'pro' compared to what we have. The meaning of 'pro' here is the actor (casualty) able to act how pain & suffer they are, from beginning until the end - some act from 8am to 10am with AV effect (audio & visual).

Is that enough we only simulate the injuries (wounds, bleeding & etc), without the 'acting'?

Always we give ours own excuses and complain that we don't have a professional or man power to teach members how to act. But, do we really need a professional for this? We are not going to big screen, not going to hollywood; we are only act in between of members, in front of public (during competition)...there is not neccessary to be 100% perfect, coz we are still 'learning'. (even some pro actor or actoress, they might also NG many times before have a good take; then why we bother so much and make ourselves left behind?)

My idea is to have a course (3D2N or 2D1N) to teach members for the 'complete' casualty simulation. The topic covers 'what is casualty simulation & its purpose', 'acting classroom', 'preparation for simulation (materials)', 'practical on casualty simulation (makeup)', etc...

The reasons are:

1. We will have a pool of pro actors as casualty (we can 'supply' the casualties for competition and even the school level - if there is demo during the new members recruitment).

2. Educate members extra knowledge out of first aid (even it is related) & footdrill.

3. Freshness. Members gain the exposure for '1,2,3..camera....cut' - acting skills. (we have lots of many members love to act and some really know how to act.....therefore we always say they are 'action')

4. It is one of the cadet proficiency badges (I found that many members are interested to this subject, even myself)

However, to complete this task, many details need to come over...relevant topics, suitable lecturers (mainly the acting class), trainer (practical on makeup), correct materials, cost & fees, etc...

Anyway, I'm looking into some of the topics and maybe or maybe not this course will be organise.

Accident or Injuries

Last Sunday, I was met with group of friends and they show me some of the injuries they suffer from the accident or we called it injuries cause by criminal activities.

Here it is:

Does it looks painful?

Never ask me why the wounds are still expose and didn't apply any bandages. Because it never need to do so.

It is a low cost production.

The photos were shot during the Casualty Simulation course at a secondary school. This course is one of the skills and practical class for St. John Ambulans Malaysia members. Or we called it cadet proficiency badge.

I was asked to conduct this course for my school or division members that allows them to have a demostration during Teacher's Day.

Allow me to explain a little regarding the Casualty Simulation. Casualty Simulation main and only purpose is to create a look-real wounds and injuries for the members to see (observation) & practise (scenario / mock case) before giving the correct treatment. This will allows the members to have an exposure on how the injuries the patient or casualty of the accident may suffer. Then, we will have to proceed for primary survey (secondary survey may take place as well) and provide the suitable treatment for the injuries.

Back in time, I was first expose to this course in 1998 during the National Cadet Camp held in Kuala Woh, Tapah, Perak (organised by St. John Ambulans Malaysia). The first time, I applied cosmetic / makeup on others' face. A good and unforgettable experience.

Then, 1999, our area organised the same course for our members. (However, the production cost is even lower than what I did recently...^o^)

p/s: I have two certificate for this proficiency badge.

In the year 2005, another time I participated at Ipoh, our State HQ. This time, I learn more than the previous. (Maybe because of the age and knowledge is better than the younger period) It fills up the empty and lost info I learned previously. Example, how to make a cut, bleeding, burn, shock, fracture and etc effects.

However, makeup is one type of art. Those art related field & topic are always make an equal mark with money or cost. The better effect you want, the more money you need to spend for your tools. Especially when you want to make your 'art' as real as the actual, the cost will growth faster than the stock market. (Practise never make perfect, as before you can make it perfect, your wallet already surrender)

Customer Service - Customer always right?

Long time didn't get in to wrtie something. Sometimes confused whether still I am able to write. But, here I proved that I still can do it.

After graduated from university and start on with working life, there is a thing, I keep on asking myself and even attending some courses to try to understand about it.

Yes, 'Customer Service'.

During study life and homeworks, I trust and bet every university & college, no matter what field you are in, it involves business, it involves money, and your boss & client are GOD. Every single little thing we do, MUST fulfill their need; if we fail to do so, we are the one who is goes wrong.

Customer Service is the FIRST priority no matter what business you are doing, this always hear from lecturer, supervisor, superior, boss and even some hear the own voice on this.

Is that true? I think it 'was' true.

Do we still need to depend on customer satisfaction level and make it our first priority aim & goal?

Nowadays, there are plenty, plenty of products out in the market. Some are niche, some are mass, some even nobody needs it. No matter what product or service, customer need it or not, it is not important because we 'educate' them to use the product and service where the advertising & promotion take place.

For example, toothpaste, my family use 'c' brand. However, when 'd' brand giving out free gift with purchase, trust me, human are greedy, you may tends to look and relook on it, where some will grab one or two just because you think it is worth for it. And, when you reach home, the product you just brought is placed in the store and you suddenly realise you don't even use or need it. this is the power of advertising & promotion.

In this case, can we return the product to the store and get back our money with the reason 'customer always right'?

Please wake up! Customer is always stupid! Therefore, businessmen & marketing people try to help and educate everybody.

Previously, all the business move towards customer satisfactory. Customer say 'no', you need to change and move faster to make them happy. It makes the business hard to survive and profitable because they are same category and similar products always beside yours. Customers are human; human never feel satisfaction. You want to make your client 100% satisfy with your product, thank god, if your company and product still in the market.

So, now, change the mind set. My product & service always right! (It depends on your product & service if it is really good)

Educate the customers. They are not that clever to teach you how to improve your product and service. Educate the customers, make them follow your rules. Educate the customers, inform them your product & service is the best.

No doubt, at the beginning stage, there must be lots of rebound. But who cares? Now, business should be make your own PROFIT as the first priority. I raise my product & service price because I believe it is worth for that. I increase the product & service price because the economy is bad.

Some may disagree on this issue. Ask yourself, the leader of the service category is? In my opinion, prostitude is the service leader in the category. (please ignore the legal issue at this moment) They make their customers satisfy; but while the customer complain on the service after the sales, can the customer just walk away or just pay as-much-as they think is worth? Come on, this is a realistic issue. I give you the service, and I must get back what I expected return; you not satisfy at this time, please make the arrangement for the second time.

Petrol price increase, residents never make noise on that? And the result is? Price up means up, no matter you agree and satisfy or not; you can choose to use it or refuse, but you still need to pay for it, in indirect way.

Fast food restaurant, they change the menu few months once, the price seems like the same, but the value of the menu set is definitely more expensive than previous. Can you complain on this? Sure, but you either continue to purchase it or ban it. It is your choice and the business is still goes on, as you are only one, you are never be able to represent everybody.

So, is customer still the one who is always right? You have your own judgment, so as I.

Who are you?

An incident came across my mind and make me to have a smiling face. This incident happened few years back, about 3-4 years ago (2005).

Remember that night about 7pm, after a movie at Time Square with 4 of my friends and ready to drive them home. I received a call when we were driving out the parking and waiting for parking payment.

The memory still fresh in my mind. As usual, I pick up the call and answer. The guy at the other end said "eh Liew, can you come to TM Tower now, my motor is out of fuel, can you buy me some?" I answered "I'm now in KL, and I have somewhere else to go. Can you call other friends to help?" "Ah, ... like that ah ... I call others la..."

The content of the conversation almost there. However, the call last for 5 to 6 minutes. Until the moment I end the call, I laugh. My friends asked me what is so funny about. I said, even after I end the call, I still don't know who is the one on the other side. They heard, and laugh, too.

But for sure, the guy (confirm is a male voice) should be my secondary schoolmate. As those who call me with my surname, only those few. I have asked around who study nearby but none of them admit they made the call to me.

Then, will there be a chance friend from college or university? My answer, IMPOSSIBLE! My college or university mates all call me by name and not surname. Furthermore, the way the guy call me seems like we knew each other long long time ago. My relationship with those collegue & university mates are not as close as until can shout for help. We met only while there has class.

It is a mist to me, until today. First, I was unable to recognise the voice's owner during the 5 minutes conversation (I am pretty good in recognising voice, at least it is in good condition at that moment). Second, the call doesn't appear the caller name, obviously, he is not listed in my friend list.

Due to this incident, I always remind those society members especially the junior, please do the following when you made a call:

1. Identify yourself. Who are you. You name.
2. Ask whether the receiver convenient to talk.
3. Calling purpose.

It sounds like very simple and a bit nonsense. But, think twice, if someone call you, ask you damn full lot of questions, tell you the purpose of calling you, but never clarify who is he or she, what's your respond? It can skip and jump straight to the main point if the caller is your close friend or family members where you knew who they are.

Please don't 'presume'. Presume others knew who are you; presume other have saved your name and contact in their phone list; presume everyone is convenient to have long conversation with you all the time.

I do the 3 tasks above whenever I made a call even the client I have conversation for few times. This made me flash back that the client scold me when I tell her who I am, as she said she already knew the call is from me. but, what's wrong the sentence after 'hello' is your name?

No matter how important and urgent is the conversation you want to make, without clarify caller or your identity to the receiver, it is meaningless & communication breakdown. At last, the caller might make a wrong or fraud call.

The call I received, is the guy really need my help or it is a trap, I have totally no idea at all.

Creative + Recycle

After some time that I have the idea of doing something on my own with the use of the recycle items.

An image came across my mind last few days. It was a table lamp. Yes, it is a table lamp.

I tried to imagine and flash back the image on that night where the image pass thru my mind. There are severe possibility for me to act it on. At last, its final outcome is hold by me.

Then, I work it out (or call it illustrate) in a 3D program. However, the illustration based on the image in my mind, I think it is too simple. Therefore, I added some 'useless' decoration on it.

The main source for this table lamp is recycle CDs. I have it few months ago but hold it until my mind told me, it is time for it. Well, I took the step to buy other necessary materials to made up the table lamp, which is ... the lamp (with bulb).

Fighting with the time for about an hour, my new partner of my room is born.

Creativity, of course, nothing much for that, but is origin.

It is simple. And, maybe there are people says that 'I can do one better; yours too simple, can make it better'. Yes, who doesn't know that mother always a woman? Talk, always easier than do.

Just a simple and quick one, I made up my new table lamp ( of course it is used for decoration purpose only) from recycle CDs.

Actually, before I execute and made up this table lamp, I have the idea of making one since long long ago; at least 6 months ago. However, until today, I act on it.

No doubt, executing is important than talking & thinking. Action, is the only way to make things done.

A Whole New Year 2009

Year 2009. It gives HOPE!

Everyone hope that the economy getting better. Everyone who work hope that they can remain in their position. Everyone who study hope that holiday never ends. But, someone like me is looking for a hope, a hope to grow own asset.

Yes, economy goes up and down, most of the time went down never climb up since 2008. From the point of view of some experts, the economy seems to be start recovery earlist by mid of 2009.

About half a year start from now, the time for me to prepare, as well as time for most of the old & new investors to study the stock market. Although nobody hope to see and want the world economy crisis to happen, but nevertheless there are groups of people ready to.

Why? As far as we know, from print, history and other records, economy crisis seem to be happen every decade. Unable to deny that there were great lost in the aspect of financial, especially those who own a lot of stock.

Meanwhile, there is a chance and a hope. A chance for those who have saving to be participate in the stock and investment. A hope for those who have extra money, willing and ready to be rich. During my gathering with some friends, most of us agree that this is the chance for us, the younger generation group to grow our asset, potentially. As we understand that, if we miss the chance right now, we might need to wait for another 10 year.

Economy crisis is good? or bad? I mean, it depends. Depends on every individual how they perceive the chance & crisis. I would prefer to see it as a new monopoly game where everyone start from a basic cashflow and at last, be rich or stay in the game, be your hand.

Money No Enough 2

It is another great movie from director Jack Neo.

Those who watched the 'Money No Enough I' which was a movie 10 years ago, should have a thought like me that 'I won't miss this movie'.

10 years ago, the movie 'inform' & 'remind' us how important is money, life without money and the correct way to earn money.

10 years later, today, Jack Neo try to film the movie - what makes you poorer than no money...

Mark Lee, one of the main actors in the movie that I feel his acting skills has improve a lots and a lots... From the previous movie 'Ah Long Pte' - he acted as a funny character, whereas in this movie, he is serious yet able to act as he is the one, a real person, without acting.

Jack Neo's movie always the success movie. From my view, besides his style of shooting scene & slice of life, one of the success points is - he know how to educate and improve his group of actors. As we can see, from the previous movies, all the actors in Jack Neo's movies, their acting skills become better and better. I even unable to believe that they are the same group of actors when I re-watched the 'old' movie.

The Mummy 3

Just watched the Mummy 3 last Friday at Ipoh.

Well, the cinema facilities compared to KL are slightly 2nd grade. Even, the audiences, brought in the baby to watched this movie as well - keep crying during the show. The worst is, the person beside me brought her little daughter and the little girl keep talking for the whole show! (-.-") Sigh~

Back to the movie, the storyline is not much meaningful, for me. The greatest and its selling point for this movie just like others action movie - CG show. p/s: CG = Computer Graphics.

In view for the graphics, it is great; especially the morphy. (3D effects that changing the character visual appearance to the other appearance like monster)

Not much description for the movie here, and for those who interested for this movie should buy a ticket and watch it yourself. (~o~)

A month

Since the previous post, it has been a month.

This a a long month for me. Many things happened.

From employed to unemployed; old phone to new handset; looking job after job, and now remains the same.

Maybe, it is a good time for me to rest. After graduated, this is the long rest that I ever had.

It is also the time for me to settle all outstanding tasks that I owed others. And, is time for me to read and upgrade myself.

Restaurant @ Tree

I was planned to have my dinner for a steak or western food today. I drove around the area near where I stay, PJ.

It was a good experience, for me. The restaurant is built above the tree. The decoration & environment as in thai style & romantic feel.

Okay. The environment looks good, for my 1st impression, although we were the only customers there. Once we have settled down, customers came slowly.

There are 6-7 waiters, excluding the cashier & the cook.

The waiter passed us the menu for order. Well, we ordered 2 set chicken chop & 1 beer.

Here, the story begin. Slowly, we found that the table we sat, lots of mosquitos. Even we were surrounded by 3 mosquito nets, but still can feel the mosquitos 'playing' with us.

Fine. The table was chosen by us. No complaint.

Then, after 15 minutes, the chicken chop served. Only one chicken chop was served. We thought they need a bit more time to serve the other. 10 minutes later, my chicken looks like haven't get to be chopped yet, or may be the chicken haven't grown yet.

We then asked the waiter for the 2nd set of chicken chop. The waiter came slowly and told us that they were only made 1 set order only. Now, wait another 10 more minutes. (Waiters!! Please!! Please repeat the order if you are not clear!!)

While serving us the 2nd chicken chop, I request for a chili sauce. There are 6-7 waiters. Yes, there are so many waiters and only 3 tables of customers!! Our table is just 10 second walking distance to the kitchen, but it takes the waiter 5 minutes to get back to us. (Good service!! With that 5 minutes, I ate half of my chicken chop already. May be their service are fast, it is my fault that my eating speed is faster than theirs.)

Good food worth to wait. But it is only 4 star food!! (Out of 10 star)

Finally, we finished our 4 star food and asked for bill. Guest what, we raised our hand for 1 minute, but no one noticed us. (There are 6-7 waiters walking around with 3 tables customers!!)

Get the bill, lastly. The charges higher than we expected & calculated. We looked at the bill, it charges us for 2 set chicken chop and 2 beer with 5% GST. OMG!!! We ordered 1 beer, but charging us for two; we ordered 2 set chicken chop but served us only one.

I straight away called the waiter again and asked for refund. The waiter appologize and say 'sorry'. But really 'sorry', I already don't want to hear anything other than treat me free. (Haha) After deducted the beer charge, I asked for the refund of 5% GST charge on the beer as well.

Really feel sorry lol. No second chance for this restaurant anymore. Poor service & 'error' charging. But, please understand that, I never stop anyone to visit that restaurant. If you are planning to having your meal there, please ensure that:

1. You have extra time to wait
2. You enjoy calling waiter
3. Your voice loud enough to order the meal.
4. You have bring your spectacles to double check for the bill.
5. Most importantly, your EQ need to high and you are in good mood that day.

Everyday we access to the world wide web for information, entertainment, games & data sharing. Either study, working or online shopping, internet is part of our daily activities; even, part of our life.

History, future talk, common info, weird & horror story and video clip, we can get it as easy as a click.

As far we know, and some of us even understand and face it everyday - access speed damn slow.

May be this is our fault. We are not subscribed for the 2M package. May be we stay at the wrong place, it is too rural and limited residents area. Hence, nobody willing to open their network for us to use. May be, there are too many people like to have their own copper wires - without need to pay a single cent.

But, it sounds funny when we really analyse the situation as well as the condition.

First, we always talk about we are developed into advance technology country. Advance? Technolgy? In what area? Advance in breaking into a house? Technology use in criminal case? May be I defined it wrongly; we are fully used of what we can have. This is the advance technology.

Is our technology as good as other countries? Question mark! If we are not good enough, why don't we learn from others? Another question mark!! We have a lots of talents, every year government sponsor straight A's students to overseas to further their studies & why they are not back to service the country? Another question mark again!!!

Rural areas, not much exposure to world wide web as well as internet. May be, they are not high educated enough to handle a machine that we called computer. We accept & forgive that. But, how's the cities and urban areas?

Most of the cities residents are high educated & know how to use the machine that named computer. Yes, we have broadband internet access for that. Is that sufficient and efficient?

2 Megabytes. Please! I have subscribed the broadband for more than 5.5 years, and I never experience that I can access the internet with the full speed I subscribed. 2 Megabytes subscribed, maximum speed only 800Kilobytes. I am staying in urban area, but what I paid is damn expensive and what I get is damn stupid low speed.

I have checked with the officers at broadband service provider center, they told me that "Oh, your area too many people using broadband, it will share your broadband speed; we can't do anything for that..."

World wide web & internet has unlimited information, but we only have limited accessing speed. As we all keep discussed, the future is globalisation. Guess what, we are still limited by the low broadband speed.

Countires like Japan, US, Taiwan, Hong Kong & etc, FREE high speed broadband service & some only charge you a minimum monthly fee. Look at our internet TV or streaming video like youtube, foreign countries users are streaming & watch; we are streaming, wait, streaming, wait, streaming, suddenly hang and unable to load - time to refresh the page, then we start again streaming & wait before we can watch a complete 5 minutes video.

Others can provide FREE high speed broadband access; we need to pay much more extra to get the minimum access speed.

Is there any choice for us to use the broadband service? Yes, either use it or don't use it. Choose to use it, then enjoy suffering for it.

39 years back, 13 May 1969 - unforgetable day for Malaysian.

2 races fight & the land full with blood..."Tanah tumpahnya darahku..." - Detail can be read online. I'm not dare to comment much on the incident as I don't want to get sue. XD

39 years later, today, 13 May 2008 - an unforgetable incident happen, for me.

It is my colleague's last day in the company. Still remember, one year ago, when the first time we met, the way we talk.....so serious!! Haha... We even speak English to each other..(Show our standard & class ma...)

As time went past, we eat together, shopping together, create funny story together...a lots of memories played in the mind.

Now, every little single matter happen in our daily life, we share it. Just like the song "I won't forget the 'things' you 'forget'" because it is damn funny...

The laugh, jokes, sad, pressure, sampling & many more will not stop playing, it is just like our friendship. Please remember the promise that we have made - paint ball game in June. It is very important event for us to gather together as I wanna shoot you quite a long time ago & I couldn't wait too long again...XD

Yes. This is the way we communicate and I hope, it will be continue as long as it can be.

Take care for yourself and we shall meet again somewhere.

A hottest Singapore blogger, in a simple way, she is a pretty girl.

I knew her is from a friend. The first time I saw her name & picture is in the friend's facebook. It is very lucky to meet her and talk to her face to face. Sadly, I haven't have the chance yet.

Her blog is mainly her activities reports, or similar to diary...the main different from our diary is, her diary always has 'redbull' and other branded products.

As I search through the internet, I read a lots of her negative news. Some people complaint about her angel, fairy face; lots & lots of ugly, bad words that put her down. People keep saying she went thru the plastic surgery, but please - why you care about that?

First, she is not your mum, your wife nor your gf, why you want to put her or even yourself down? Your action can cause for defamation.

Second, if she is not the hottest blogger, and she is just an ordinary people, will you care about her has went thru plastic surgery? Come on, there are a lot of people around us, especillay when we walk in a shopping complex have went thru plastic surgery. It is just because they are ordinary people and we have no interest to publicise it.

Although she is now become famous and as a celebrity, she still have the right for her own lifestyle.

Yes. She is damn pretty. But it doesn't give you the rights to jealous and insult her. If you think everybody go thru plastic surgery will become fairy pretty, why don't you do it?

I'm a result-driven people. Pretty means pretty. Who cares about the process? As long as your attitude is good, treating your friends truely & you are the friend I wanna meet up.

Honestly, I wish I have a chance to meet her up and become one of her friends. Please, nobody have a right to insult anyone, as it will reflects your character & attitude that will not be respect by anyone.

Hot Movies in Town

First & foremost, is a hottest movie in town; every screen time, cinema is fully sitted, nothing else but - Iron Man.

'Waoo'... is my first impression, not the movie but the people who line-up there. Full, no, is extremely over loaded with people. Everybody is crazy for this movie just like a free movie give away.

I queued for 30 mins to get 2 tickets. Sigh....

But, it is worth!! Iron Man is a damn good movie that nobody wants to miss it. And, it must be watched in cinema; if you buy DVD - please ensure your living room equiped with HiFi & complete surround system and a 60 inch big TV.

Iron Man - hopefully it is our future, i mean the technology not the weapon. 3D modelling & humanize computer. I was so excited at the scene Tony Stark designing the new Iron Man armor. It is better than the previous movie I watched - Paycheck. The technology is so advance and it is a dream for all the illustrator as well as architect & designer.

Fighting scene & sound effect, of course it is the best. Even the past movies, iRobot & Fantastic 4 can't compared to. Transformer, well, it is good; I rated it as 1st class lower. Iron Man is a 1st class upper movie.

Once again, Marvel & Paramount did a great job to produce this movie. Thanks; even you all earn the money from my pocket, it is worth, anyway.

Another hot movie in town, is 2J movie. Jet Li & Jackie Chan. "The Forbidden Kingdom".

Story, just forget about the original 'Journey to the West'. This Monkey King is not that Monkey King although it is similar.

The USP (Unique Selling Proposition) for this movie is - the fighting scene of 2J. A bit disappointed where 2J only fight for few minutes. But, it is a good start & reason for 2J to produce another movie.

Visual effect for this also makes me excited where they seem like real fighting. Humour, a bit. Even my friend told me, this movie doesn't belong to Jackie Chan or Jet Li. JC's movies - humour, fighting & heroic. JL's movies - serious, fighting & justicial. Their common point is also the main selling point in this movie - fighting.

Two movies using different approach but share a same common feeling - the feel of you never want to miss it.

How do you judge / measure beauty?

We are all ordinary people that we meet a lot and a lot of people everyday. Tall, thin, short, fat, round, square and triangle; especially while we are in the shopping mall.

I have a group of friends and even my colleagues, we always discuss and analyse what beauty is.

Well, it is fantastic, especially the process. Everybody has their own opinion on what is beauty. Hair style, make up, dressing and body language.

We have done some of the research on the field; no matter where we are. Just bear in mind that, never judge on your family members; or else vandalism & violence might happen.

I have come out a conclusion where tested with most of my friends and agreed by them. (Don't blame or sue me, as it is agreed by many parties... :D)

First, hair style. Long or short doesn't matter as long as it matched with the face and dressing. Of course, for a normal guy, long hair girl always the dream girl.

Found a very interesting story & met with a very interesting people.

I have my lunch at a food court. When I was having & enjoying my lunch, a girl with a file came to me.

She asked 'Excuse me, may I have a few minutes with you?' Then, I answered her that I'm not free & rushing.

Interesting part is - she asked 'do you know what I want to say? I haven't told you yet.'

Hahaha. True. She haven't say a single word yet. I have rejected her without giving her a chance.

Most of us know, when someone approach you at the food court or food stall - first thing come to mind, they want something from us.

This is the society education. A message come to us, we will directly reject it if we are not ready to help. I prefer this way rather than wasting people time explain to you the whole story and at the same time, wasting your own time.

I did not gave her the chance as I know, the questions / reasons she want to say - donation for poor children at Africa or Indonesia, donation to the orphan or old folks home, donation for helping a sick person, either one will be the reason.

Why did we give a chance when we are suspect on the person trustworthiness? All the questions the person want to asked, that's only one answer they want - money, money from your pocket.

Maybe they are good, they are really helping others. But, newspapers, TV, Radio & all media keep on informing us that do not fully trust on your known friends & couple. Then, why we need to give a chance to the incognizance people to approach us? It may hurt, deeply.

I'm the type of person, I do not like to give donation or good to others when I'm in the public. As nowadays, a lot of devils using this chance to 'earn' money as well as taking your life away.

As a first-aider, rule no.1 to save a life - protect and make sure yourself are safe before saving others life.

Three Kingdoms

Three Kingdoms - a story of the hero - Zhao ZiLong.

Director: Daniel Lee
Cast: Andy Lau, Maggie Q, Vanness Wu, Samo Hung.

The story goes round with the life of Zhao. Start from joining as Lord Liu's warrior until the last moment of his life. And, this movie is in Mandarin.

For me, this movie is just a summary of the life of Zhao. Short and not detail enough. Understand that it is just a 1 hour 45 mins movie, can't be too detail or else it should be a series.

Sad to say, Zhao is different from the poster. In a way, he is not as handsome as in the poster. Why? You should watch this movie and you will know why. Hahaha.

This movie is similar to the '300'. And this is the Chinese version. Of course story & background is different, but the feel almost the same, which is the movie I will only watch once.

It is a good movie. But it is not the movie I will watch it, repeat & repeat.

The only message I remember from this movie is - what is the reason you fight?

Yes. What is the reason we need to study and working? There are a lot of problems, troubles, obstacles happen daily, why we still want to fight to survive? What is the reason we want to be rich? Because happy? Family? Or other reasons? And what makes us change? Maybe we need to have a time to think about it; the reasons for us to be us.

A good place always give us a good feeling. More and more building, especially the hotel, renovated as luxury as they can. Besides the luxury, they give you a brand new home, a fresh environment where create teh feeling - your status is higher if you stay in the hotel.

Guess what, have a look for the photo below that I took during the launch of the new food supplement - Olivenol livin' BEGIN.

How is it? 'Luxury' feel? There are more...

Waoo... a 'live band'. Have you ever in a hotel that has live band? Yes. You may stay in this type of hotel before.

But, the photo above doesn't belongs to any hotel. It is a hospital. Yes, you are right. It is a medical centre. Have you ever walked into a hospital like this? This is my first time. Thanks to all, I was there just to attend a launch & press conference. (Hopefully never & never stay in this 'hotel')...hahaha...

Jack Neo - nothing much to descirbe on him, but just a very good director.

His movies always carry the important messages to us while we are laughing or crying. I love his movies. Each of his movie is meaningful and is true or truth.

I am not stupid 1 & 2 - I'm sure almost all people who watched & understand the language will like it. Meaningful yet education. I do agree on what he captured on the screen as we can really see it daily...(maybe once awhile =p)

His latest movie, Ah Long Pte Ltd - for me, it is 5 star movie. Those who know Jack Neo's movie style, humour is his symbol, his movie's charateristic.

I watched this movie few week ago when it was just on screen. A 2 hours movie, we (the whole cinema audiences) laugh for minimum 1.5 hours. Only about 30 minutes is serious scene.

Even though we laugh for almost whole movie, doesn't mean that it is meaningless. Yes, it does push some messages to us. Those who watched it and can't remember, please watch it again & again, repeat & repeat. the more we replay the movie, the more messages we found in it.

The storyline is start with Fann Wong - act as chairman for ah long group (hope this defination is right...hahaha). Her mother help & find her the potential husband where Mark Lee be the 'victim'.

Mark Lee as the dancer teacher who hate ah long, but married with ah long. His role or character a bit 'ah gua'. And, I like the words he keep mentioned in the movie; ask your mother to lay down, see whether I can make her pregnant.

Of course, this movie using the humour method to potray ah long as very good group that help poor people in financial solution, even come out a group theme. Also, to carry out the whole movie, gangs fight are the main stream story to excite as well as entertain the audiences.

In one of the incident, a couple died because of them where their daughter revenge at end of the movie.

A lot of songs, audio & visual effects have been used in this movie. Nevertheless, the best is still the script. We can feel the effort in writing the script & dialogue.

More than what I wrote, watch the movie is better than reading the review. Get your time, enjoy the show!

BF, GF, Wife & Husband

What is BF & GF? and what is wife & husband?

One day, it suddently comes into my mind. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Do you own a handphone? How frequent do you change your phone? What model are you currently using?

Remember how & what you do when you just bought a new handphone? Yes, you explore it & keep it clean, frequently. Whenever you meet your friends, you show it off - especially you bought the latest & expensive one.

How about car... Are you own a car? Local or foreign? 1st-hand, 2nd-hand car or multi-hand car? Did you ever multified your car?

Well, you did the same things like you do to the new handphone. But, the duration shorter. To car, you are not as crazy as you treat to a phone. Why? Maybe the phone life-span is shorter, as we don't change the car as frequent as handphone, therefore we are more cherish of it.

Car is used for long-term. Handphone, sad to say 'it's only for a short while'.

Agree?

Yes! Most of us answer 'Yes" for the statement above, especially the new generation nowadays.

As per what you all understand from the above, handphone represent to BF or GF. We always look for the best even when we already have one. Maybe you are not agree, but this is the fact - we can see it. Whenever you get a new or better one, you show it to your friends. You will proud to say "This is mine". You are in love & take care for the relationship, at the begining. However, the life-span is short. (WARNING: It depends on individuals)

You will start looking for a better & better than better one. Some people always change their phones looking for more & more new functions & design, but finally found that the previous one always suit them better - nothing much can do, it is history. Of course, you can look for the same model in the market or phone store - it is just different from the one you are using previously.

Car, is our long-life couple. You won't change it frequently, right? It is a long-term contract & ownership. Even, they may not be the best & suit you most, however you have chosen it. Due to the long-term contract restriction, some people choose to re-paint the car, modify the audio system, change the seat, add-on decoration items & small pillows or toys - just to make it stand out to represent your likes & character. Ask yourself, did you ever ask the car - do you want to be like this?

Some people choose to keep quiet & endure everything - good & bad. It is not right, too. If the car has the problem, fix it. Don't ever let the problems remain as it is; it will explode at last and treatening your life! Haha...

Let us think, re-think & re-think carefully...

We do have a choice, no matter how. Let us think carefully, analyze the pros & cons before we look for the new one and throw away the old one. Time never let us NG & take-two, so as a relationship.

Well, it comes to another month again. First quater of 2008 - gone.

April's Fool. Everyday it is. Most of the people are wasting their time everyday to fool around.

I was repeating my daily life just like the music in a CD. Everyday same time same track. Repeat, repeat & nothing else but repeat. Working life should it be like this??

Wakeup early, go to office, turn on computer, contact client & suppplier, lunch, continue the work on morning, then OT again....reach home - sleeping.

Is this the life everybody like? For me, I doubt it. Of course, repeating life doesn't require to think a lots, repeat the same job will minimise the mistakes. But, this is not really the life I want.

At least, some time for me to rest, for me to escape & away from work. Some time for me to study, to do what I want to do. This comes to time management. Everybody told me that 'you need to manage your time', is it really easy to do when you need to face a lot & a lot of uncertainty & accident issues?

Someone has said, 'when you face the deadend, is time for you to go back to school'. Maybe school doesn't teach us how to solve a problem practically nor teach us how to success in life & career, however, school provide us a time - a time for us to think about, anything.

OMG, everybody is saying you are old, why go back to study - waste your time & money? Maybe they are right, but why not?

It's the time to make a move, for me.

All these wonders of the world, now, it is placed in Shenzhen - called 'Window of the World'. The whole place - forgot how big already... It is linked up and just like a big garden, perhaps I can have one, hahaha.

Car owner to aware

For you who are a drivers in a running box on the road, scratches & machine not functioning well are the common issues.

Machine breakdowns always happen, especially the local made Milo tin. We are shocked about the selling price and even more shocked from outside to inside of our Milo tin. Technology of making, understand that it is poorer than the others but please, not as poor as what we should see today.

A local made and sell is not "cheap" in price but "cheap" in quality. No need to hit, no need to bang, no need to get accident; just a press from a child can made the tin from outside go to inside.

Well, I'm not planning to discuss on the QC of the running box even I did it up there. Haha...

Not sure that have you all met the situation I had. I remember 3 years ago, when I heard some rough sound from my car brake, I went to the nearest mechanic for brake pad replacement at KL. However, the mechanic told me that I should also change all my 4 brake-discs as it were wearing down or it will crack and break later. To change, it will cost me about RM 1,800.

Luckily I don't have enough money to change at that moment. I went to my mechanic to clarify the brake-discs issue, and he replied there is no such thing of brake-discs broken, even for a car down from Genting and the brake-discs heated till its burning red in colour - it just won't crack and break. FYI, my brake-discs are in good condition until now.

So, why the KL mechanic comes to the conclusion that my brake-discs will be broken?

Recently, my driver side power-window is not functioning when I drove from hometown back to PJ. Well, it spoiled when I was using it. I heard clearly that it is belt snapping sound, and I have the experience to change the belt at past.

Funny thing happen now. I drove my car to one of the PJ mechanics to repair the power-window. It is a miracle. The mechanic have not and never check on my power-window, they straight away told me that I need to change the whole power-window system on that side and it costs RM 200+. What a magic, it sounds like a patient went to a doctor and without any check-up, the doctor can diagnose & straight away giving the medicine to the patient. Maybe I'm the frog under the shell, I didn't know that our technology nowadays are so advance!!

Of course, I told the doctor I will repair it later where I will never & never go back to him.

So, if you are a driver & you own a car, please be aware that, at the world out there are a lot of demons that will threaten or intimidate you just to want to earn your money where they are not supposed to.

Hence, please be mindful of the walk-in mechanic shop.

A nice song to share where it touches my feeling everytime it was played. The song title "Mungkin Nanti" means of "Maybe Later". The lyrics is meant for the past relationship. It said it maybe the last time to talk to you as you have made your mind to leave and end this relationship.

Maybe later both of them may meet up again, but don't even try to retrive the relationship as it is already a history.

I'm agree on the lyrics. In my opinion, a relationship should be made up by both parties; tolerance, forgiving & understanding to maintain the relationship. Maybe I'm wrong, once you have giveup & surrender the relationship, never expect other to accept you again. You have made thousand and one reason to leave, but then why you eat your words?

3D modeling project

Time passing fast, it was a year ago when I created the 3D models for my Uni project. It was a fun subject, I learn a lots especially in the animation history & technology. A 2 hours 3D animation show, it consumed and cost thousand & thousand hours from the planning till final production to movie.

These two characters are my project model. They are ants. Of course, not so nice compared to the professional animators' works.

Just to create these two characters, it takes me about 2 days. (First time doing this, consider very fast already). Later, these two characters have been 're-generated' many many just like Matrix to incorporate into a series of storyboard.

During the whole process, I feel very happy that we are given the chance to expose to 3D animation. (FYI, I'm the first batch of students who start & having the 3D animation subject & class)

Unfortunately, happy hour ended fast. Just about one month we were hand-ons to the animation. Eventhough it is only a Uni project, but I think there is more & more improvement space that we can do it better.

Software is a magic. The more you practise, the more secrets you can found out. 'There is no one who can 100% fully manage & using a software program even the creator / programmer himself.' This might be true, as more we touch on the program, there are always alternative ways to done up the project especially graphic & animation.

But, do we need to be perfect user since the program itself may also incomplete?
